About the Tour

Mission Statement

Our mission is to ensure the future of the game by providing a “Girls Only Tour” that will actively increase participation and interest in girl’s golf, to provide a venue for aspiring collegiate golfers in the Carolina’s and beyond to develop, compete and be recognized and to provide affordable, top-level tournament competition and development.

The Story

An 501(c)3 non-profit initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, the PKBGT is the nation’s only junior golf tour designed exclusively towards junior girl golfers.

Founded in 2007 with the initiative to increase the number of quality opportunities for junior girls, the tour breaks the traditional and commonly seen model by offering skill based divisions instead of divisions based on age – featuring a progression pathway for players of any age to compete at yardage appropriate divisions as their skills progress.

Heading into its 14th season, the tour sees 1,000 unique participants each year while offering over 100 single and multi-day events from Florida to Pennsylvania. Over the course of the season, PKBGT members have the opportunity to compete and be recognized on the national level – with hopes of joining the PKBGT’s nearly 900 alumni who have gone on to play collegiate golf since the tour’s inception in 2007.
